Helen had to make sure Coco was used to her carrier for long-haul flights, which meant spending time preparing the carrier. Luckily, Coco has been used to pads since she was a baby, so she can usually write and poop on demand. So she had no problems on the plane and went to the toilet at the airport before boarding.
They spent countless sleepless nights trying to familiarize themselves with quarantine requirements through strict quarantine controls such as rabies vaccinations, rabies serology tests and all the paperwork. This was the most important step as they did not want to risk Coco being quarantined overseas and/or on her way back to Singapore.
