What is the best time to visit this place with my dog? Although summer is considered peak season for the pages, I discourage you from visiting with your dog unless you are going to spend time on the water. It’s very hot in the summer, and you can expect temperatures to rise above 100°F and you certainly don’t want your dog to suffer from heatstroke as it can kill. Definitely visit in October or February-April. There is snow on the page, so I would avoid visiting in the depths of winter (November to January).

Are there dog walks on the page? Yes, you can find a dog-friendly tour company located 15 kilometers north of the site. Epic Adventure Rides accepts pets, but you need to contact them in advance before booking a ride. You can also check out Horseshoe Bend Tours for other unique dog tours. Another good option is Lake Powell Paddleboard and Kayaks Here and Kayak Colorado.

Is it worth visiting the page with my dog? This is one of the most dog friendly places in Arizona as you will find that this page is full of great places for you and your dog to enjoy. There is no shortage of cute things to do on the page and your dog will bark with delight at all the options.

What did I get for my dog? Since this page is in the desert, you always want enough water to keep your dog hydrated. You also want to know about their thoughts. If the sun is hot, make sure you protect their feet with good shoes.

To be honest, I was worried that dog-friendly hotel options would be limited in this small town, but I was pleasantly surprised by what we found. There is a good selection of hotels that will welcome you and your dog with open arms. I show you Arizona hotels that accept dogs.

Lake Havasu City Pet Friendly Vacation Rentals

We stayed at the Marriott Courtyard with our dog and found the hotel to be very dog friendly. The staff even gave us dog food! We noticed that most of the rooms had their own sliding glass doors, and being downstairs with our dog and having easy access to the yard with him it was helpful.

I have to admit we spent most of our time exploring on our way to QT and were too tired to eat, but we tried Birdhouse and loved the food! And while there aren’t many dog-friendly restaurants on this page, you can find my list of dog-friendly options below.

When it comes to dog walking trips, I’m always on the lookout for great outdoor adventures and Page is outdoor heaven! We are spending the weekend here with our dog and trying to see everything, but there are so many things to see and do on the page that it was almost impossible . But I have included special activities for dogs.

Dog Friendly Vacations In Arizona

Wow, wow, wow, this site lives up to the hype! I had to talk about this place to get my husband to agree to take our 2002 Yukon on a 4+ trip from home and luckily the white bag didn’t disappoint :wow: never I thought we would spend that much money. . A lot of time was spent here, but after walking for a long time and setting eyes on this place the sun flew by us.

I’m almost afraid to believe how many photos I took, but it may or may not be close to 400 photos. And even if the sun tried to steal the show, it’s hard to leave a place like this and I so we spent most of the day exploring here. If I could do it over again, I would visit at sunset for the soft light and beautiful colors. No matter what time of day you visit, I can guarantee you will fall in love with White Pocket!

* The road to White Pocket is difficult as it is covered with deep sand which makes it easy and if you don’t have four wheel drive your car will get stuck. And you don’t want to get caught here because it’s far away. Tours are available to get you here. To find out which tour is right for you, visit the Travel Information Center page here.

The most popular site on this page is dog friendly! And it wouldn’t be a Page tour without visiting Horseshoe Bend. Yes, this place is worth visiting and will leave you speechless. People from all over the world come here to see this natural beauty. Fortunately, this location is easy to find as it is close to Highway 89 where there is plenty of parking. Entry is $10 per vehicle and is dog friendly!

You will find a 0.6 mile paved trail that leads to a blind spot. There are shaded areas along the way, but avoid visiting during the middle of the day during the warmer months as the sun can be very unforgiving. And if you want to avoid the crowds, I recommend visiting at sunrise or during the week.

Flagstaff Pet Friendly Vacation Rentals

We stopped here last summer with our dog, and with boots in hand and 3 water bottles in hand we thought we were ready, but our dog got so hot that some kind of of the Samaritan who stopped to give our dog plenty of water. And we managed to get back to the car safely. So take plenty of water!

You can find Alstrom Point about 2 hours northeast of Page. The road to get here can be very difficult. If you want to drive the whole way, you need a 4×4 vehicle. In fact, we found that these roads were in worse condition than the White Pocket for the last 5 kilometers of our trip. It had just rained, so the ground was still soft and muddy from the rain. I recommend using these instructions. We found them very useful.

This area is dog friendly, but since you are on a steep slope, be sure to keep your dog on a leash and away from the edge. A 2WD vehicle can drive most of the last 5 kilometers of the trip. I read some comments online from people with 2WD vehicles, the last 2 kilometers before Alstrom Point, but I recommend having a very clean car to avoid getting stuck because this area is very far. If you’ve traveled in the southwest, especially from Arizona to Utah, you’ve passed the Lone Rock Beach trail. This is a fun golf course on what is considered one of Lake Powell’s most popular beaches. And if you are wondering where this name comes from, it is because of one big rock found here.

This Is The Most Dog Friendly Us City For Travelers

It’s a popular campground that’s open year-round, so you’ll find a good selection of outdoor bathrooms and showers. We were surprised by the cleanliness of the bathroom here. If you plan to camp here, it costs $14 per vehicle per night.

Grab the leash and head out on the Toadstool Hoodoos Trail. Your leashed dog will enjoy this hike as much as you would, as you pass towering mushroom-shaped cliffs and red wave-shaped cliffs. This walk is suitable for all ability levels, but is best used when the temperature is not high due to the lack of shade. If you’re hiking this way in the summer, bring plenty of water for you and your dog!

We visited this trail in March and were lucky enough to have the area to ourselves, but it’s usually very crowded, so be careful if your dog doesn’t do well in crowds. Insider Tip: Most people will bet on the first big underdogs when the road opens,
