Dog Friendly Holidays Looe Cornwall – Stonerush Lakes is a luxury holiday park located 7 miles from Polperro and Fowey in south-east Cornwall. This is a beautiful piece of undeveloped farmland with a beautiful lake in the middle of the park. It is home to many of Cornwall’s favorite wildlife, herons, geese and freshwater fish.
Set on over 28 acres, there are private one, two and three-bedroom vacation homes, many of which are dog-friendly. Stonerush Lakes sleeps two and is perfect for families with multiple dogs. The hotel is quiet and peaceful, and has been decorated to a high standard both internally and externally. Whether you choose a lakeside cabin or decide to stay in the heart of the valley, the views are always stunning!
Dog Friendly Holidays Looe Cornwall
The dogs and I are family friends and live at 3 Valley View, a modern house behind the hotel. With laminate flooring, it is easy to clean after a muddy walk (except in the bedrooms). I really appreciate how easy it is to close rooms such as bedrooms when the dog gets wet. The open living room had plenty of room to organize our post-hike belongings.
Looe Cottages By The Sea
Golisa Falls is one of our favorite places for walks in south-east Cornwall. It would have been rude of us not to drive the 20 minutes we were at Stonerush Lakes. Their sister site South Halt is also under construction – a wonderful country retreat for dogs. During our stay we also visited Lantic Bay for the first time. Getting to the beach is quite difficult, but the undeveloped beach is definitely worth it!
Rooms at the Stonerush Lakes Hotel are equipped with modern kitchen appliances. There’s also a dishwasher and crockery, making buffets a breeze. Additionally, there is a restaurant and bar that offers hearty meals and relaxed customer service year-round.
The master bedroom is spacious and airy with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking a private deck. There’s not enough space inside for Woody’s box – we always travel with it or often jump into bed in the middle of the night!
Outer space isn’t completely safe because there are no doors. However, Woody and the Hens always stood out to me. We enjoy chatting over Cornish tea every morning. There’s even a sunken hot tub on the deck, which proves to be the perfect spot after a hard day with the dogs! Lanreath is a village in south-east Cornwall, 5 miles from Los Angeles. More information about browser support A seaside town in southeast Cornwall. There are many attractions and events throughout the year, including an annual raft race in the summer and festivals in the winter. The town is divided into east and west sides, with a working port on the banks of the Looe River. Fishing is the port’s main industry, and fresh fish auctions are held weekly on the waterfront. The fishing fleet consists of 47 vessels, including trawlers and hand boats. There are plenty of delicious walks to enjoy, many of which are dog-friendly.
These towns were built in the Looe Valley, with steep hills and narrow streets. There’s also a strong sense of community here. In 2018, local residents came together to organize alternative events to the Looe Music Festival. It’s an easy walk between the two towns, and there’s also a dog-friendly ferry. For just 50p per person, dogs travel for free. Crossing the river takes seconds, and Woody enjoys breathing in the ocean air as he walks.
When we visit L.A., we love exploring the busy streets. There are dog-friendly pubs, cafes and restaurants such as The Fisherman’s Arms and The Ship Hotel. We often buy cakes from the local bakery and eat them on the go. Be careful, Lu Hainiao is very excited and loves to bite people! We’ve heard good things about Daisy’s Cafe in East Loon and it will definitely be open next time we visit!

Looe Pet Emporium is a must-visit for Woody. Convenient pet store stocked with all the essentials. They sell a variety of natural chews including tracheas, chicken legs, and beef joints. All of these products are sold in eco-friendly plastics like Woody. We also love browsing the charity shop at Loe’s East. There are also local galleries, gift shops and other small businesses. A store would be dog-friendly if there was a dog park outside,
